Չինաստանի արտաքին գործերի նախարարությունը հաստատել է, որ Չինաստանի և ԱՄՆ-ի իշխանությունները սկսել են նախապատրաստվել ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի և Չինաստանի նախագահ Սի Ծինփինի հանդիպման կազմակերպմանը։ Այս մասին հայտնում է РИА Новости-ն՝ հղում անելով Չինաստանի ԱԳՆ-ին։

«Երկու կողմերը պայմանավորվել են համատեղ ջանքեր գործադրել Սան Ֆրանցիսկոյում երկու երկրների ղեկավարների հանդիպում կազմակերպելու համար»,- ասել են չինացի դիվանագետները։

Չինաստանի արտգործնախարարությունը մեկնաբանել է նաև Չինաստանի արտգործնախարար Վան Յիի և ԱՄՆ նախագահի ազգային անվտանգության հարցերով օգնական Ջեյք Սալիվանի հանդիպումը։

Գերատեսչությունում նշել են, որ երկու երկրների ներկայացուցիչների զրույցի ընթացքում քննարկվել են միջազգային հարցեր, այդ թվում՝ բարձր մակարդակով շփումների պահպանումը, ինչպես նաև պաղեստինաիսրայելական հակամարտությունը։

Սան Ֆրանցիսկոն, որտեղ կարող են հանդիպել Բայդենը և Սի Ցզինպինը, նոյեմբերին կհյուրընկալի Ասիա-խաղաղօվկիանոսյան տնտեսական համագործակցության գագաթնաժողովը:
