ԱՄՆ պետքարտուղար Անտոնի Բլինկենը, երկուշաբթի օրը ելույթ ունենալով Թել Ավիվում Իսրայելի պաշտպանության նախարար Յոավ Գալանտի հետ, վերահաստատել է, որ Իսրայելը «միշտ կունենա Միացյալ Նահանգների աջակցությունը», հաղորդում է CNN-ը։

Բլինկենն ասել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ը «խորապես հավատարիմ է Իսրայելի իրավունքին, ավելին՝ նրա պատասխանատվությանը՝ պաշտպանելու իրեն և իր ժողովրդին»:

Գալլանն իր հերթին զգուշացրել է. «Սա երկար պատերազմ է լինելու»։

 

«Արժեքը բարձր կլինի, բայց մենք կհաղթենք Իսրայելի, հրեա ժողովրդի և արժեքների համար, որոնց հավատում են երկու երկրները», - ասաց Գալանտը:
