Ադրբեջանի նախագահը հայտարարել է՝ Ադրբեջանն ամբողջ պատասխանատվությամբ ճանաչում է Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը։

Նա նշել է՝ եթե ադրբեջանական կողմն այլ նպատակներ ունենար, Լեռնային Ղարաբաղի դեմ ռազմական գործողությունները սեպտեմբրի 20-ին չէին դադարեցվի:

«Եթե ցանկանայինք շարունակել, դժվար չէ կռահել, թե որտեղ կարող էինք կանգ առնել, եթե ընդհանրապես որոշեինք կանգ առնել։ Բայց մենք դա չարեցինք: Մենք նման մտադրություն չունենք։ Մենք ճանաչում ենք Հայաստանի տարածքային ամբողջականությունը»,- ասել է Ալիևը:

Նա հավելել է՝ ժամանակն է, որ Ադրբեջանի և Հայաստանի թիմերը միասին աշխատեն խաղաղ համաձայնագրի նախագծի վրա։ Ալիևի խոսքով՝ այժմ լուծումներ գտնելն ավելի հեշտ կլինի:
