Հայաստանը բավական լավ թիմ ունի, եւ մենք պատրաստ ենք վաղվա խաղին: Այս մասին Երեւանում տեղի ունեցած ասուլիսում նշեց ֆուտբոլի Խորվաթիայի ազգային հավաքականի եւ անգլիական «Մանչեսթեր Սիթիի» կիսապաշտպան Մատեո Կովաչիչը:

«Վաղվա խաղը շատ կարեւոր է մեզ համար: Հայաստանի հավաքականի հետ 2 տարի առաջ բավականին բարդ հանդիպում ենք ունեցել: Ագրեսիվ թիմ էր: Վաղվա խաղն էլ բարդ է լինելու: Գիտենք՝ ինչ թիմի դեմ ենք խաղում, բարդ է լինելու միավոր վաստակելը, բայց կփորձենք լավագույն արդյունքը ցույց տալ»,- նշել է Կովաչիչը:

Հայաստանի հավաքականը սեպտեմբերի 11-ին Եվրո-2024 փուլի 6-րդ տուրում Երեւանում կընդունի Խորվաթիայի թիմին։ Նախորդ տուրում խորվաթները 5:0 հաշվով հաղթել էր Լատվիայի թիմին։

5-րդ տուրում Հայաստանի հավաքականոը Էսկիշեհիրում 1:1 հաշվով ոչ ոքի էր խաղացել թուրքերի հետ։
