Նա հիշեցրել է, որ դեռեւս Անկախության օրվա հանդիսավոր հավաքի ժամանակ ինքը հանձնարարել է կառավարությանը եւ արտաքին գործերի նախարարությանը արեւմտյան հարեւաններին առաջարկել բարիդրացիության եւ խաղաղության պլան։

Լուկաշենկոն նաեւ պատրաստակամություն է հայտնել ցանկացած պահի ընդունել արեւմտյան ավիաընկերությունների։
