Պեկինում տեղատարափ անձրեւների առաջացրած տարերային աղետներից զոհվել է 33 մարդ, հինգ մարդ զոհվել է փրկարարական գորոծղությունների ընթացքում, տեղեկացրել է «Սինհուա» գործակալությունը՝ հղում կատարելով տեղի իշխանություններին։

Եվս 18 մարդ նախկինի պես համարվում է անհետ կորած, ներառյալ փրկարարը, մամուլի ասուլիսում տեղեկացրել է Պեկինի փոխքաղաքապետ Սյա Լինը։

33 անձինք հիմնականում մահացել են հեղեղումների եւ տների փլուզվելու պատճառով։

Հուլիսի 29-ից մինչեւ օգոստոսի 2-ը Պեկինը տուժել է ուժեղ անձրեւներից, որոնք առաջացել են «Դոքսուրի» թայֆունի պատճառով։
