Հայաստանի ծանրամարտի երիտասարդական հավաքականներն ավարտել են ելույթները Ռումինիայի մայրաքաղաքում անցկացված ծանրամարտի Եվրոպայի Մ20 և Մ23 տարեկանների առաջնությունում՝ ընդհանուր առմամբ, երկամարտում նվաճելով 5 ոսկե, 6-ական արծաթե և բրոնզե մեդալներ: Հայաստանի թիմից Մերի Թումասյանը (+87 կգ) դարձել է Եվրոպայի Մ23 տարեկանների առաջնության փոխչեմպիոն։

Հայ մարզուհին երկամարտում գրանցել է 208 կգ (93+115) արդյունք և կանգնել պատվո հարթակի երկրորդ աստիճանին: Պոկում և հրում վարժություններում ևս Թումասյանը փոքր արծաթե մեդալներ է նվաճել։

Մ20 տարեկանների հավաքականը Եվրոպայի առաջնության թիմային հաշվարկում զբաղեցրել է առաջին հորիզոնականը, իսկ 102 կգ քաշային ծանրորդ Գարիկ Կարապետյանը ճանաչվել է առաջնության լավագույն մարզիկ:

Մ23 տարեկանների պայքարում ավելի վաղ երկամարտի ոսկե մեդալներին արժանացել են Ռաֆիկ Հարությունյանը (81 կգ), Գառնիկ Չոլակյանը (61 կգ) և Լիանա Գյուրջյանը (87 կգ), իսկ Կարեն Մարգարյանը (81 կգ) և Պետրոս Պետրոսյանը (109 կգ) դարձել են արծաթե մեդալակիր:
