Շվեյցարիայի Լոզան քաղաքում անցկացվող WTA-250 մրաշարում հաղթանակով է մեկնարկել պայքարը աշխարհի 68-րդ ռակետ, ռուսաստանցի Էլինա Ավանեսյանը։ Առաջին շրջանում նա մրցել է աշխարհի 289-րդ ռակետ, ռուսաստանցի Եվգենյա Ռոդինայի հետ, որը երկրորդ սեթում Ավանեսյանի օգտին 2:0 հաշվի ժամանակ հրաժարվել է պայքարից։ Առաջին սեթում Էլինա Ավանեսյանն առավելության էր հասել 6:2 հաշվով։

Երկրորդ շրջանում Էլինա Ավանեսյանի մրցակիցը կլինի աշխարհի 112-րդ ռակետ, իտալացի Սառա Էրանին, որն առաջին շրջանում ազատ էր։

Լոզանի մրցաշարի մրցանակային հիմնադրամը 259 հազար եվրո է։
