Իսպանիաի Աստորգա քաղաքում կայացել է պաուերլիֆտինգի աշխարհի 2023 թ. PRO առաջնությունը, որին մասնակցել են նաև Հայաստանի ներկայացուցիչները:

Չեմպիոնի տիտղոսը նվաճել և նոր ռեկորդներ են սահմանել աշխարհի և Եվրոպայի չեմպիոններ Հայկ Աֆյանը, Արտյոմ Սոլոյանն ու Վլադիմիր Աղասարյանը:

Հայկ Աֆյանը 100 կգ քաշային կարգում եռամարտի 545 կգ արդյունքով հռչակվել է աշխարհի չեմպիոն: Արտյոմ Սոլոյանն էլ աշխարհի չեմպիոն է հռչակվել պառկած սեղմում վարժությունում 195 կգ ռեկորդով՝ 82,5 կգ քաշային կարգում: Հայաստանի դրոշի ներքո հանդես է եկել Լատվիայում բնակվող Վլադիմիր Աղասարյանը: Նա 90 կգ քաշային կարգում պառկած սեղմում վարժությունում 195 կգ արդյունքով նվաճել է աշխարհի իր անդրանիկ չեմպիոնությունը` պաուերլիֆտինգի Հայաստանի ազգային հավաքականի կազմում:

Այս առաջնությունում աշխարհի ռեկորդով չեմպիոն էին դարձել նաև աշխարհի և Եվրոպայի չեմպիոններ, միջազգային կարգի սպորտի վարպետներ Արա Խաչատրյանն ու Մակար Թամրազյանը:
