Մայիսի 24-ին կայացել է Ադրբեջանի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Ջեյհուն Բայրամովի հանդիպումը ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի՝  Կովկասի բանակցությունների գծով գլխավոր խորհրդական, ԵԱՀԿ ՄԽ ամերիկացի համանախագահ Լուի Բոնոյի հետ:

Ինչպես գրում են ադրբեջանական ԶԼՄ-ները, հանդիպման ընթացքում քննարկվել են Ադրբեջանի եւ Հայաստանի միջեւ խաղաղ գործընթացը, խաղաղության եւ միջպետական հարաբերությունների կառուցման մասին համաձայնագրի նախագծի շուրջ բանակցությունների ներկայիս վիճակը, այդ համատեքստում անցկացված վերջին հանդիպումների արդյունքները եւ բանակցությունների հեռանկարները: 

Բայրամովը եւս մեկ անգամ ուշադրություն է հրավիրել Ադրբեջանի դիրքորոշման վրա՝ կապված հաղորդակցությունների բացման եւ դելիմիտացիայի գործընթացի հետ։

Լուի Բոնոն հայտարարել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն պատրաստ է ամեն կերպ աջակցել խաղաղ գործընթացին՝ նշելով, որ անհրաժեշտ է ապահովել խաղաղություն եւ հանգստություն՝ հանուն տարածաշրջանի զարգացման:
