ԱՄՆ Պետդեպը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանն ու Իրանն ընդլայնում են իրենց ռազմական համագործակցությունը

ԱՄՆ Պետդեպարտամենտի խոսնակ Վեդանտ Փաթելը լրագրողներին ասել է, որ Ռուսաստանն ու Իրանն ընդլայնում են իրենց ռազմական համագործակցությունը:

Նրա խոսքով՝ Իրանը «շարունակում է մնալ Ռուսաստանի գլխավոր ռազմական աջակիցը, եւ Իրանն արդեն Ռուսաստանին հրետանային եւ տանկային արկեր է տրամադրել Ուկրաինայում օգտագործելու համար»։ 

Փաթելն ասել է, որ օգոստոսից ի վեր «Իրանը Ռուսաստանին տրամադրել է ավելի քան 400 ԱԹՍ, հիմնականում «Շահեդ» տիպի, եւ Ռուսաստանը սպառել է այդ ԱԹՍ-ների մեծ մասը՝ դրանք օգտագործելով Ուկրաինայի տարածքում ուկրաինական կրիտիկական ենթակառուցվածքներին հարվածելու համար»։

«Այդ համագործակցության խորացումը սպառնալիք եւ վտանգ է ներկայացնում ոչ միայն Ուկրաինայի, այլեւ Ռուսաստանի հարեւանների, Իրանի հարեւանների եւ ընդհանրապես միջազգային հանրության համար»,-հայտարարել է նա։
