Իրանը պատրաստվում է ռազմածովային ուժերի նավատորմ ուղարկել Ատլանտյան օվկիանոս: Այս մասին հայտնել է Իսլամական Հանրապետության ռազմածովային ուժերի հրամանատար Հաբիբոլլահ Սայյարին:

Նշվում է, որ իրանական ռազմական նավատորմի այս տեղաշարժը կիրականացվի ընթացիկ տարվա երկրորդ-չորրորդ եռամսյակներում:

Ինչպես հայտնել է իրանական IRNA գործակալությունը, ռազմածովային ուժերի հրամանատարը նշել է, որ Իսլամական Հանրապետության նավատորմի ներկայությունը Ատլանտյան օվկիանոսում թույլ կտա բարձրացնել ծովային ճանապարհների անվտանգությունը:

Ավելի վաղ Իրանը ռազմական նավեր էր ուղարկել նաեւ Կարմիր եւ Միջերկրական ծովեր, ինչպես նաեւ Հնդկական եւ Խաղաղ օվկիանոսներ:
