ՆԱՏՕ-ի ինը երկրների նախարարներ կոչ են արել ԱՄՆ-ին ամրապնդել Ուկրաինայի հետ սահմանները՝ իրենց ուղարկելով հակաօդային պաշտպանության համակարգեր։ Այս մասին NTV հեռուստաալիքի եթերում հայտարարել է Ռումինիայի արտաքին գործերի նախարար Բոգդան Աուրեսկուն։

«Մենք պետք է աշխատենք մեծացնել ԱՄՆ-ի ներկայությունը մեր տարածաշրջանում` արևելյան թևում՝ զորքերի և տեխնիկայի առումով», - ասել է նա:

Նշվում է, որ Բուլղարիայի, Չեխիայի, Էստոնիայի, Հունգարիայի, Լատվիայի, Լիտվայի, Լեհաստանի, Ռումինիայի և Սլովակիայի նախարարները կոչ են արել ԱՄՆ-ին ուժեղացնել սահմանային տարածքները։

Ապրիլի 3-ին Ռումինիայի նախագահ Կլաուս Յոհանիսը կոչ արեց ավելացնել ՆԱՏՕ-ի ներկայությունը Սև ծովի տարածաշրջանում: Այդ մասին նա հայտարարեց Գերմանիայի կանցլեր Օլաֆ Շոլցի հետ հանդիպումից հետո։
