«Ապրելու երկիր» կուսակցության համահիմնադիր Մեսրոպ Առաքելյանը ֆեյսբուքյան իր էջում գրում է. 

«Կտեսնես, որ էս երկիրը կարգին ուժեղ ու մեծ երկիր է, բայց ինքն իր ուժը չգիտի, ինքն իրեն չի ճանաչում, չի հավատում...»:

Այսօր Սպարապետի ծննդյան օրն է: Վազգեն Սարգսյանը մեր նորանկախ պատմության այն բացառիկ գործիչներից է, ով կարողացավ իր գաղափարներով և գործողություններով բեկել պատմությունը, հավատալ մեր ժողովրդի գերբնական ուժին ու համառ կամքին:
 
Նա իսկական պետական գործիչ է եղել, ով շարունակում է մարմնավորել անկախ և հզոր Հայաստանի ու ազատ Արցախի գաղափարը: Գաղափար, որ մինչ օրս ոգևորում է շատերիս՝ շարունակել ապրել, պայքարել ու չհանձնվել անգամ այս բարդ ժամանակներում:

Մենք պարտավոր ենք շարունակել Սպարապետի գործը, հավատալ ինքներս մեզ ու կառուցել նրա պատկերացրած հզոր և ուժեղ երկիրը:
