Այս պահին Թուրքիայի միջուկային անվտանգության վրա երկրաշարժերը ոչ մի ազդեցություն չեն թողել: Ինչպես հաղորդում է «Արմենպրես»-ը, վկայակոչելով «ՌԻԱ Նովոստի»-ին, այս մասին նշում է Ատոմային էներգիայի միջազգային գործակալությունը (ՄԱԳԱՏԷ):

«Այս պահին երկրաշարժերը չեն ազդել Թուրքիայի միջուկային անվտանգության վրա»,- ՄԱԳԱՏԷ-ին  հայտնել է թուրքական միջուկային կարգավորիչն ու հավելել՝ ռադիոլոգիական անվտանգության և ռադիոակտիվ աղբյուրների պահպանության հետ կապված խնդիրներ չեն ծագել, իսկ երկրում կառուցվող ատոմային էլեկտրակայանը չի տուժել:
