ԱՄՆ պաշտպանության նախարար Լլոյդ Օսթինը հայտարարել է, որ Ռուսաստանն ունի տպավորիչ զենքեր, և գալիք ձմեռը դժվար է լինելու Ուկրաինայի համար։ Այս մասին հայտնում է ՏԱՍՍ-ը։

«Գիտենք, որ ռուսներն ունեն հսկայական բանակ և տպավորիչ զենքեր», - ասել է Օսթինը:

Նրա խոսքով, սակայն, նույնիսկ այս հանգամանքը թույլ չի տվել ռուսական զորքերին «հաղթել» Ուկրաինայում։ Պենտագոնի ղեկավարը նաև մեջբերել է ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենի խոսքերն այն մասին, որ «Ուկրաինան երբեք չի դառնա Ռուսաստանի հաղթանակը»։

«Մենք գիտենք, որ առջևում կարող են մարտահրավերներ լինել, քանի որ Ուկրաինային սպասվում է դաժան ձմեռ», - ասել է Օսթինը:

Նա նաև հավելել է, որ ԱՄՆ-ն և նրա դաշնակիցները մտադիր են շարունակել աջակցել Կիևին։
