Հոսեյն Ամիր Աբդոլահիանը հայտարարել է, որ Հայաստանի Կապան քաղաքում Իրանի առաջին գլխավոր հյուպատոսության բացումն իրականացվել է երկրի 13-րդ կառավարության տնտեսական քաղաքականության շրջանակում՝ Հյուսիս-հարավ տարանցիկ ճանապարհի ամրապնդման, երկու երկրների հարաբերությունների ընդլայնման ու խորացման համար:

Իրանի ԱԳ նախարարի խոսքով՝ այս քայլն արվել է երկու երկրների միջև տնտեսական ոլորտում համագործակցությունը զարգացնելու և ամրապնդելու նպատակով:

«Այս որոշման շնորհիվ առաջիկայում Իրան-Հայաստան հարաբերությունների ընդլայնման ու խորացման ականատեսը կլինենք»,- հավելել է նախարարը:
