ԱՄՆ Ֆլորիդա նահանգում մոլեգնում է «Յեն» փոթորիկը։ Ինչպես հաղորդում է CNN հեռուստաալիքը՝ տարածաշրջանային իշխանություններին հղումով, փոթորկի հետևանքով զոհերի թիվն արդեն գերազանցել է 40-ը։

Հեռուստաալիքի տվյալներով՝ քամու ուժգնությունը հասնում է 250 կմ/ժ-ի։ Շուրջ 2,5 միլիոն մարդ մնացել է առանց էլեկտրականության, հեռահաղորդակցության ցանցերը խաթարվել են, իսկ օդանավակայանները չեն աշխատում։ Նահանգում գրանցվել են զգալի ավերածություններ։

ԱՄՆ-ի փոթորիկների դեմ պայքարի ազգային կենտրոնը նախազգուշացրել է, որ, չնայած «Յենի» վարկանիշն իջեցվել է մինչև հետտրոպիկական ցիկլոնի, միևնույն է վտանգը դեռ չի անցել և դեռ կանխատեսվում են փոթորիկներ, անսպասելի հեղեղումներ և ուժեղ քամիներ։
