Սահմռկեցուցիչ դեպք է տեղի ունեցել այսօր Վարդենիսում: Վարդենիսի բնակիչներից մեկը այսօր ինքնասպանություն է գործել՝ լսելով, որ որդին գիշերը թշնամու հարձակումից զոհվել է: Ինքնասպանությունից հետո, սակայն, հերքվել է որդու զոհվելու տեղեկությունը: «Քսան րոպե չի դիմացել, հա, որդու զոհվելու մասին լսել է, չի դիմացել ու պարանով կախել է իրեն»,- Aravot.am-ին ասաց Վարդենիսի քաղաքապետ Ահարոն Խաչատրյանը: Ըստ նրա՝ ինքնասպանության դիմած հայրը բացի ժամկետային զինծառայող որդուց ուներ նաեւ մեկ դուստր եւ ՌԴ-ում բնակվող որդի:
