Օդագնացության և տիեզերական տարածության հետազոտությունների ազգային գործակալության (ՆԱՍԱ) նախկին տնօրեն Ջիմ Բրայդենստայնը քննադատել է Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ ԱՄՆ-ի քաղաքականությունը, գրում է «Իզվեստիա»-ն:

«Հետևյալը կարող եմ ասել. մեր երկրի քաղաքականությունը Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ, երբ դիտարկում եք տիեզերական թռիչքները, շիզոֆրենիկ է»,- Բրայդենստայնի խոսքը մեջբերել է Space.com-ը:

Նա նաև նշել է վերջին տասնամյակների ընթացքում ՆԱՍԱ-ի՝ Ռուսաստանից «չափազանց մեծ կախվածություն» ունենալու մասին: Ամերիկացի գործչի կանխատեսմամբ, առաջիկա տարիներին անհրաժեշտ կլինի այլընտրանք գտնել ցածր օրբիտային կայաններին, քանի որ Ռուսաստանը մտադիր է 2014 թ. դուրս գալ Միջազգային տիեզերական կայանից:
