Օգոստոսի 16-ին՝ ժամը 10:05-ին, Ճգնաժամային կառավարման ազգային կենտրոն ահազանգ է ստացվել, որ Երևանի մետրոպոլիտենի կայարաններում պայթուցիկ սարքեր են տեղադրված։ «Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան Երևանի մետրոպոլիտեն» ՓԲԸ»-ի մամուլի խոսնակ՝ Տաթևիկ Խաչատրյանը փոխանցում է, որ դեպքի վայր են մեկնել ԱԻՆ ՓԾ փրկարարական ուժերի վարչության հատուկ նշանակության փրկարարական աշխատանքների իրականացման կենտրոնի կինոլոգիական խումբը և քաղաքացիական պաշտպանության վարչության քաղաքացիական պաշտպանության ուժերի հավաքական կենտրոնի ինժեներասակրավորական ջոկատը:
