Աշխարհին անհրաժեշտ է ԱՄՆ-ի և Չինաստանի համագործակցությունը, քանի որ այդ պետությունների միջև փոխգործակցության բացակայությունը անհնարին է դարձնում գլոբալ խնդիրների լուծումը, ասել է ԵՄ դիվանագիտության ղեկավար Խոսեպ Բորելը իսպանական El Pais հրատարակությանը տված հարցազրույցում։

Բորելի խոսքով, ԱՄՆ-Չինաստան համագործակցության շնորհիվ հնարավոր կլինի գլուխ հանել կլիմայի փոփոխության խնդրից, իսկ առանց դրա կլիման գտնվում է մեկ այլ սպառնալիքի տակ։

«Այդ իսկ պատճառով շատ վատ նորություն է, որ Չինաստանն արդեն դուրս է եկել կլիմայի շուրջ բանակցություններից»,- նշել է եվրոպական դիվանագիտության ղեկավարը։

Չնայած ԱՄՆ-ի և Չինաստանի միջև լարված հարաբերություններին, Բորելը ասել է, որ ոչ մի երկիր մյուսին ձախողում չի ցանկանում, քանի որ նրանց տնտեսությունները սերտորեն կապված են:

Ինչպես հայտնել ենք, այս հարցազրույցի շրջանակներում Բորելը եվրոպացիներին հորդորել էր պատրաստ լինել՝ «վճարելու Ուկրաինային աջակցելու գինը»:
