ԱՄՆ նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը հայտարարել է, որ ամերիկյան կառավարությունը երբեք թույլ չի տա, որպեսզի Աֆղանստանը կրկին վերածվի ահաբեկիչների ապաստարանի։ Այս մասին հաղորդում է ՏԱՍՍ գործակալությունը։

Բայդենն ընդգծել է, որ Աֆղանստանը չպետք է հարթակ դառնա Միացյալ Նահանգների դեմ ուղղված գործողությունների համար։ Նրա խոսքով՝ «Ալ-Քաիդա» ահաբեկչական կազմակերպության առաջնորդ Այման ալ Զավահիրիի ոչնչացմանն ուղղված գործողությունը հստակ ցույց է տալիս ԱՄՆ-ի մտադրությունները։

«Իմ վարչակազմը կշարունակի ուշադիր հետևել և արձագանքել «Ալ-Քաիդա» սպառնալիքներին, որտեղից էլ որ դրանք գան», - շեշտել է Բայդենը:
