«Եթե Արևմուտքը ցանկանում է ոչ թե բանակցություններ, այլ Ուկրաինայի հաղթանակ Ռուսաստանի նկատմամբ մարտի դաշտում, ապա, հավանաբար, Արևմուտքի հետ պարզապես խոսելու բան չկա, քանի որ այս մոտեցումներով, ըստ էության, դա թույլ չի տալիս Ուկրաինային անցնել խաղաղության գործընթացին», - ասել է Լավրովը:

Նա պարզաբանել է, որ հանդիպման ժամանակ G20-ի արևմտյան երկրները ներկայացնող դիվանագետներին տրվել են «անաչառ հարցեր», որոնց պատասխանները նրանք չունեն, այլ միայն «կատաղի ռուսատյացություն»։
