Հայաստանի հավաքականը՝ Եվրոպայի փոքր երկրների չեմպիոն

Բասկետբոլի տղամարդկանց Հայաստանի հավաքականի հաղթանակով ավարտվեց Մալթայում անցկացված Եվրոպայի փոքր երկրների առաջնությունը։

Եզրափակիչում ամերիկահայ Ռեքս Կալամյանի գլխավորած թիմը 84։68 հաշվով պարտության մատնեց Մալթայի թիմին, որը կիսաեզրափակիչում 59։52 հաշվով հաղթել էր Ադրբեջանին։

Մալթայի թիմը հաղթեց միայն առաջին քառորդում՝ 19։15։ Երկրորդ քառորդ Հայաստանի հավաքականը հաղթեց մեծ առավելությամբ՝ 24։11։ Երրորդ քառորդ եւս հաղթեց Հայաստանի թիմը՝ 23։18։ Չորրորդ քառորդում Մալթայի թիմը հավասար պայքար մղեց, բայց պարտվեց 20։22 հաշվով։

Ամերիկահայ Ռեքս Կալամյանի գլխավորած թիմը կիսաեզրափակիչում մրցել էր Անդորրայի հավաքականի հետ եւ առավելության հասել 93։66  հաշվով։

Խմբային փուլում Հայաստանի հավաքականը 100։63 հաշվով պարտության էր մատնել Ջիբրալթարի հավաքականին, 78։66 հաշվով՝ Սան Մարինոյի թիմին։
