ԱՄՆ վարչակազմը անհանգստացած է Ուկրաինային` որպես ֆինանսական օգնություն հատկացվող ֆինանսական միջոցների գողության և խարդախության հնարավոր ռիսկերից։ Այդ մասին գրում է The Wall Street Journal-ը։

Քանի որ Ուկրաինայում ԱՄՆ-ի վերահսկողական մարմիններ չկան, և ֆինանսական օգնության ծավալը հսկայական է, այդ գումարների գողացումը ժամանակի հարց է: Այսպիսով, փորձագետ Ջոն Սոպկոն, ով նախկինում վերահսկում էր Աֆղանստանին տրամադրվող ֆինանսական օգնությունը, կարծում է, որ ֆինանսական օգնության գողությունը ամեն դեպքում կլինի։

Հրատարակությունը նշել է, որ Աֆղանստանի սխալները ամերիկյան իշխանություններին ոչինչ չեն սովորեցրել։ Սակայն Կիևը քննադատության է ենթարկվել բարձր մակարդակի կոռուպցիայի համար նույնիսկ մինչ ռուսական հատուկ գործողության մեկնարկը։ Դժվար թե այդ կոռուպցիան ինչ-որ տեղ վերացել է 2022 թվականի փետրվարի 24-ից հետո։

Ինչպես ընդգծում է WSJ-ն, ԱՄՆ իշխանություններն արդեն փորձում են վերահսկել հատկացված միջոցների ծախսերը։ Բայց վերահսկող մարմինները պարզապես հնարավորություն չունեն ամբողջությամբ ուսումնասիրել Ուկրաինային հատկացվող հսկայական միջոցների ողջ ծախսերը։
