Ոչ ոք միջուկային պատերազմ չի ուզում, և պետք է ամեն ինչ անել, որպեսզի Երկրի վրա միջուկային կոլապս երբեք տեղի չունենա, սակայն դրա անհնարինության մասին խոսելը սխալ է, ասել է ՌԴ Անվտանգության խորհրդի փոխնախագահ Դմիտրի Մեդվեդևը։

«Հասկանում եք, երբ ասում են, որ դա անհնար է, քանի որ երբեք հնարավոր չէ, նրանք միշտ սխալվում են: Ավելին, միջուկային զենքն արդեն օգտագործվել է մարդկության պատմության մեջ»,- ասել է նա Al Jazeera հեռուստաալիքին տված հարցազրույցում։

Ամենակարևորը, ըստ Մեդվեդևի, «այն է, որ այն որոշումները, որոնք ընդունում են երկրները, պետք է սառը գլխով ընդունվեն՝ հաշվի առնելով բոլոր իրողությունները»։

«Ոչ ոք չպետք է մոռանա նաև այս մասին: Բնական է, որ ոչ ոք չի ցանկանում միջուկային պատերազմ: Սա փակուղի է, սա մարդկության վերջն է, և մենք բոլորս պետք է ամեն ինչ անենք, որպեսզի Երկրի վրա միջուկային կոլապս երբեք չլինի»,-ասել է Մեդվեդևը:
