Ուկրաինայի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Զելենսկին ասել է, որ եթե Ռուսաստանը կարծում է, որ Լիման կամ Սևերոդոնեցկ քաղաքներն իրենցն են լինելու, ապա նրանք սխալվում են։ Նա շեշտել է, որ Դոնբասը կլինի ուկրաինական, գրում է gazeta.ua-ն:

«Եվ եթե նույնիսկ Ռուսաստանը ամենուր ավերածություններ ու տառապանքներ բերի, մենք միևնույն է կվերակառուցենք յուրաքանչյուր քաղաք և յուրաքանչյուր համայնք:Եվ մեր ուկրաինական դրոշներին իրական այլընտրանք չկա և չի լինելու»,- ասել է նա Ուկրաինայի ժողովրդին ուղղված երեկոյան տեսաուղերձում։

Նա հավելել է, որ ռուսները փորձում են գոնե մինչև պատերազմի հարյուրերորդ օրը հասնել այն նպատակներին, որոնք ակնկալում էին իրականացնել փետրվարի 24-ից հետո առաջին օրերին, ուստի Դոնբասում կենտրոնացրել են առավելագույն հրետանի, առավելագույն պաշարներ:
