ԱՄՆ-ում «Իսլամական պետություն» ահաբեկչական խմբավորման կողմնակիցը ծրագրած է եղել սպանել նախկին նախագահ Ջորջ Բուշ կրտսերին, գրում է Forbes-ը՝ վկայակոչելով Հետաքննությունների դաշնային բյուրոյի փաստաթղթերին։

Հրատարակության տվյալներով՝ կասկածյալը ԱՄՆ-ում է գտնվում 2020 թվականից։ 2021 թվականի նոյեմբերին նա մեկնել է Դալլաս՝ նկարահանելու Բուշ կրտսերի տունը։ Նա նաև ծրագրել էր իր համախոհների մի խմբի մաքսանենգ ճանապարհով տեղափոխել Միացյալ Նահանգներ` Մեքսիկայի հետ սահմանով:

Նշվում է, որ կասկածյալը Բուշ կրտսերին մեղավոր է համարել 2003 թվականին ԱՄՆ-ի կողմից Իրաք ներխումից հետո բազմաթիվ իրաքցիների սպանության և երկիրը պառակտելու մեջ։

Նշվում է, որ պլանը բացահայտվել է երկու տեղեկատուների աշխատանքի, ինչպես նաև կասկածյալի WhatsApp-ի օգտահաշվի լրտեսության միջոցով:
