ԱՄՆ-ի վարչակազմը պաշտոնաթող գեներալ-լեյտենանտ Թերրի Վոլֆին նշանակել է Ուկրաինայի ռազմական օգնության համակարգող: Ապրիլի 21-ին այդ մասին հայտնել է The Hill թերթը՝ վկայակոչելով Սպիտակ տանը կից Ազգային անվտանգության խորհրդի (ԱԱԽ) ներկայացուցչի։

«ԱԱԽ-ն վերջերս ներգրավել է Թերրի Վոլֆին անվտանգության բնագավառում Ուկրաինայի աջակցության համակարգման օգնության համար, որը ցույց են տաիս ԱՄՆ-ը եւ մեր գործընկերները»,- մեջբերում է հրատարակությունը աղբյուրի խոսքը:

Ապրիլի 21-ին ԱՄՆ-ի նախագահ Ջո Բայդենը հայտարարել է, որ Վաշինգտոնն Ուկրաինային կուղարկի 800 միլիոն դոլար գումարի ռազմական օգնության նոր փաթեթ, որը կներառի հրետանի եւ անօդաչու թռչող ապարատներ: Ինչպես ճշտել է Պենտագոնը, փաթեթում կներառվեն հերտանային արկերի 155 միլիմետր եւ 144 միլիմետր տրամաչափի 72 հաուբիցներ, 72 մարտական ավտոմոբիլ այդ արկերի քարշակման համար, ինաչպես նաեւ 121 Phoenix Ghost մարտավարական անօդաչու թռչող ապարատներ, հաղորդել է ՏԱՍՍ-ը:
