ՀՀ կրթության, գիտության, մշակույթի և սպորտի նախարարի տեղակալ Կարեն Գիլոյանն ասել է, որ Սևիկյան եղբայրները հանդես կգան Հայաստանի հավաքականի կազմում։

«Արսեն Զախարյանին արդեն չենք կարող հրավիրել Հայաստանի հավաքական։ Նա հայտավորված է եղել Ռուսաստանի հավաքականի կազմում, իսկ ֆուտբոլում հնարավոր չէ փոխել քաղաքացիությունը։

Բայց Սևիկյան եղբայրների համար արդեն պայմանավորվել եմ։ Նրանց հոր՝ Նորայր Սևիկյանի հետ արդեն խոսել եմ, նրանք կմիանան Հայաստանի հավաքականին»,- ասել է Կարեն Գիլոյանը «Շանթ» հեռուստաընկերության եթերում։

20-ամյա Էդգար Սևիկյանը հանդես է գալիս իսպանական «Լևանտեի» կազմում, իսկ Էրիկ Սևիկյանը՝ «Վալենսիայի» Մ19 թիմի կազմում։ Էդգարը մինչ այս ներակացնում էր Ռուսաստանի երիտասարդական հավաքականը։
