Ռուսաստանի Դաշնության ավիացիոն իշխանությունները մինչև մարտի 26-ը երկարաձգել են քաղաքացիական օդանավերի թռիչքների արգելքը Ռուսաստանի հարավում գտնվող օդային տարածքի մի մասով։ Այս մասին ՏԱՍՍ-ին հայտնել է տրանսպորտի նախարարության աղբյուրը։

Փետրվարի 24-ից Ռուսաստանը փակել է երկրի հարավում իր օդային տարածքի մի մասը քաղաքացիական ինքնաթիռների համար՝ Ուկրաինայում հատուկ ռազմական գործողության համատեքստում։

Սահմանափակումը մի քանի անգամ երկարացվել է։ Ուղևորներին քաղաքներ, որտեղ փակ են օդանավակայանները, տեղափոխելու համար  ռուսական ավիաընկերություններին առաջարկվում է փոխադրումներ կազմակերպել այլընտրանքային երթուղիներով՝ օգտագործելով Սոչիի, Վոլգոգրադի, Միներալնիե Վոդիի, Ստավրոպոլի և Մոսկվայի օդանավակայանները:
