ՆԱՏՕ-ն պատրաստ է Ռուսաստանի նախագահ Վլադիմիր Պուտինին երաշխիքներ տալ, որ դաշինքը սպառնալիք չէ ՌԴ համար: Այս մասին Մյունխենի անվտանգության համաժողովին հայտարարել է Մեծ Բրիտանիայի վարչապետ Բորիս Ջոնսոնը:

«Առջևում կա ճանապարհ, եթե նախագահ Պուտինը պատրաստ է: Կարելի է քննարկել սպառնալիքները, որոնք նա պնդում է, թե տեսնում է: Քանի որ իրականում մենք բոլորս գիտենք, որ բոլոր այդ սպառնալիքները ցնորք են: Դրանք ՆԱՏՕ-ի մասին Կրեմլի խրոնիկ սխալական պատկերացման արդյունքն են»,- ասել է Ջոնսոնը:

Նա նշել է, որ Հյուսիսատլանտյան դաշինքը սպառնալիք չէ, այն խաղաղ ու պաշտպանական դաշինք է: «Մենք պատրաստ ենք աշխատել նախագահ Պուտինի հետ՝ ցույց տալու այդ տեսակետը և տալու այն երաշխիքները, որոնց կարիքը նա ունի»,- հայտարարել է Բրիտանիայի վարչապետը:
