Հավաքական անվտանգության պայմանագրի կազմակերպությունը (ՀԱՊԿ) բազմիցս կոչ է արել ՆԱՏՕ-ին համագործակցել, սակայն այդ առաջարկները մնացել են անպատասխան։ Այդ մասին չորեքշաբթի օրը հայտարարել է ՌԴ փոխարտգործնախարար Սերգեյ Վերշինինը ՄԱԿ-ի Անվտանգության խորհրդի նիստում։

«Ցանկանում ենք հիշեցնել, որ ՀԱՊԿ-ն բազմիցս դիմել է ՆԱՏՕ-ին համագործակցության նախաձեռնություններով։ Ժամանակին առաջարկվում էր փոխգործակցություն Աֆղանստանի վերաբերյալ, որն այն ժամանակ արդիական էր։ Երկու տարի առաջ ՀԱՊԿ անդամ երկրների արտգործնախարարները ՆԱՏՕ-ի երկրների իրենց գործընկերներին ուղղված բաց կոչ են ստորագրել՝ փոխվստահության ամրապնդման և համագործակցության զարգացման վերաբերյալ։ Այս առաջարկները մնացին անպատասխան»,- ասել է նա։
