Ուկրաինայի էներգետիկայի նախարարի՝ եվրոպական ինտեգրման հարցերով տեղակալ Յարոսլավ Դեմչենկովն Ադրբեջանին առաջարկել է օգտագործել իր գազային պահեստները: Ինչպես փոխանցում է Life.ru-ն, փոխնախարարի խոսքով «դա կնպաստի Եվրոպայի էներգետիկ անվտանգությանը»:

«Անդրբալկանյան խողովակաշարով իրականացվող փոխանցումները և Ուկրաինայում գազի հսկայական ստորգետնյա պահեստարանների օգտագործումը կարող են նպաստել Ադրբեջանից ԵՄ գազի մատակարարման ծավալների ավելացմանը և ամրապնդել դեպի տարածաշրջան բնական գազի մատակարարման հուսալիությունը»,- Դեմչենկովին մեջբերում է ուկրաինական նախարարության մամուլի ծառայությունը:

Վերջինս հավելել է, որ Բաքուն Կիևի ռազմավարական գործընկերն է էներգետիկայի ոլորտում, հատկապես նավթագազային համալիրի զարգացման հարցերով:
