ՆԱՏՕ-ն շուտով Ռուսաստանին գրավոր առաջարկներ կանի անվտանգության հարցերի վերաբերյալ, երեքշաբթի օրը՝ հունվարի 18-ին, հայտարարել է ՆԱՏՕ-ի գլխավոր քարտուղար Յենս Ստոլտենբերգը։

«Շուտով մենք գրավոր կներկայացնենք Ռուսաստանին մեր առաջարկները, նրանք տեղյակ են այդ մասին: Այս գրավոր առաջարկներն արտացոլում են բանակցություններում մեր լուրջ ներգրավվածությունը` սպառազինությունների վերահսկողության, ռազմական գործունեության հետ կապված թափանցիկության, հրթիռների և շատ այլ հարցերի շուրջ», - ասել է Ստոլտենբերգը: 

«Բայց մենք պատրաստ չենք զիջումների գնալ առանցքային հարցերում...Իսկ պատասխաններն ու մասնակցությունը այն հանդիպումներին, որոնց ես նրանց հրավիրել եմ, կախված է Ռուսաստանից»,- հավելել է նա։

Միաժամանակ, Ստոլտենբերգը կարծում է, որ դեռ վաղ է խոսել՝ արդյոք ՆԱՏՕ-ն ու Ռուսաստանը համաձայնության կգան, թե ոչ։
